GENERAL INFORMATION
The National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women (NOBEL Women) is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization primarily composed of current and former appointed and elected Black women legislators. We represent more than 280 Black women legislators in virtually every state in the United States of America. Since its inception in 1985, NOBEL Women has worked tirelessly to increase and promote the presence of Black women in government, corporate, and nonprofit leadership.
Over the years, NOBEL Women has risen to become a global voice to address a myriad of issues affecting the lives of women and their families. The Annual Legislative Conference assembles more than 250 policy makers, industry experts, and community stakeholders from across the country. For more than 30 years, NOBEL Women has assembled Black women from across the country to discuss pressing policy issues and find solutions to very complex problems. We engage with locally elected officials, work through policy matters in real time.
NOBEL Women’s 34th Annual Legislative Conference will be taking place June 26th-30th, 2019 at the Gwen Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. If you have any questions please let us know below.
